Been doing some research, so i thought I might do some posts like this. Hopefully you will benefit from them.

Look at how those rough brush strokes are used, but in the animation all you see is bobo rushing off the screen.
Brilliant.

Yes, a slight back turn of the head to give the movement even more effect too.
