A question

I've worked out that I can animate with my webcam, and there wouldnt be any camera flicker. I really don't want camera flicker - but I really want good quality, and I don't know which one i'd rather have. Good quality or a stable camera?

Here is a bad quality un-rendered version with the good quality camera:

And here is a similar thing with the webcam (with lighting flickers).

I don't have any money to buy anything else..

I really don't know what to do!

It could be that the lighting flickers are due to "auto exposure" on the web cam. You need a camera that you can override all these settings and set them manually. You might be able to configure this on the driver for the camera.

the lighting flickers are due to my lights - i was using the webcam as an assist, as i could see what i was animating, so i didn't worry about the lighting or anything, i just took the frame. i then fixed the lighting and took the frame on the camera.

what do you think i should use? webcam or camera?

So is the problem with the "good" camera that it's wobbling on the tripod? I managed to pick up an infrared remote control for my camera, you might be able to get something like that or a cable release?

I'm still not quite clear what you mean by "lighting flickers are due to my lights". What kind of lights are you using?

m_) I think both can work, just as both can set a mood for sure.
